Hey Flashes! Don't forget that tomorrow is PAJAMA DAY!! Wear your favorite pj's to school! Also, the Fall Bazaar is this Saturday at the school! Come out and pick up a few pumpkins, squash, and gourds. Every Sawyer student who attends will receive a free pumpkin! We have 15 vendors lined up to share their awesome products with you, come out and do a little shopping, grab a cup of cider and a baked good and sit and visit with a friend for a bit. It will be a GREAT way to jump into Fall.

They will be ready to be picked up tonight, Sept. 26th, starting at 6:30 to 7:30...so please come to pick them up during that time frame. Good morning Flashes!! A parent consent form from ND Dept of Health was sent out at the beginning of the school year. It is for students at Sawyer Public School who do not have a current dentist. A dental hygienist from the state will be in our school on Tuesday, October 17 to check your child's teeth for cavities, put sealants on the back teeth and apply fluoride varnish to help keep them strong. There is no cost for this service. If you did not receive this form or have misplaced it and are interested in this service, please give the school office a call and we will get one sent out for you. Good morning! Here is a quick reminder for everyone....School will be dismissing at 12:30 tomorrow, Wednesday, September 20th due to staff inservice. Busses will run their routes, there will be no after school program. Also there is no school on Monday, September 25 due to Pre K thru 12 teacher professional development.
good afternoon parents! Here are a few reminders for you of things that are coming up in the next few weeks. Pizza order forms and money should be turned into the school tomorrow, Wednesday, September 13. If you have not returned your free and reduced meal form, this is the last week to do so, if you had free or reduced meals last year but have not renewed your application, you will begin getting billed for meals starting Monday, Sept 18. We have an early dismissal on Wednesday, September 20 at 12:30 due to teacher inservice training. Busses will run their routes, there will be NO CLC this day. Monday, September 25 there is no school due to professional development for our teachers. Mark your calandars for these important dates!

If you are interested but do not have the forms, please go to the school facebook page for the links. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Stockie at the school. Next up...Pizza sales! students in grades K-12 were sent home with Ole and Lena pizza forms, if your child did not come home with one please contact the office. This is an awesome fundraiser for our Booster Club and the pizzas are delicious! Last but not least, form were also sent home for Grandparents day breakfast with the OLDEST student in the family, please check with your student, if you did not get one, please call the office and we will get one sent home.
