Ryan Stockie here, as many of you know my role with our school has continued to evolve over the years, and this year I will be stepping up as your PreK-12 Principal. I love to spend “free time” with my wife Brittany and our beautiful baby girl, Anahri. We work on house projects, swim, and ride bike. We are all also avid readers!
We have a lot of changes this year at Sawyer School and a lot of opportunity for growth! With change can come discomfort and confusion, so please reach out to me directly if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to continue working with you all and can’t wait to see where Sawyer continues to grow from here.
Sawyer Public School is in search of a kindergarten teacher. Candidates should be able to provide instruction for students in grades k-2, use data, & collaborate with PLC to identify best instructional practices for student learning. In addition, the teacher will monitor the progress of students, maintain records & communicate well. Finally, attending & participating in data analysis meetings & other related school activities and training is essential.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education w/Kindergarten Endorsement.
ND Teaching license or ability to be licensed.
Must be able to work collaboratively with groups of parents, teachers, & students.
Shows the ability to create and maintain a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to learning.

Good afternoon Flashes! We would like to remind you that tonight is our Spring Showcase of the Arts starting at 6:30. Also, if you have not registered for the Activities Banquet on Thursday, May 14 at 5:30, please do so as soon as possible. We would love to have you join us as we celebrate our students. Invitations were sent, however, if you have not received them please call the office to get on the list! Student admission is free, parents/guests are $5 in advance or $10 at the door.
