Sawyer School is hiring a Nutrition Services Manager. This position will be responsible for food preparation and serving of meals and snacks, preparing dining areas for meal times, ensuring all applicable policies for food preparation and serving are followed, and cleaning the kitchen and dining area when finished eating. Salary is negotiable. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. Applicants are eligible for Veterans’ Preference. The Sawyer School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Applicants must be able to lift 40 pounds. Applicants must also be able to pass a background check in accordance with North Dakota law.

There will be a Sawyer Booster Club meeting tonight, August 30th, at 7 p.m. in the school library. All are welcome to attend!
The Sawyer School Board has voted to make masks optional for the 2021-2022 school year. The board may change this policy if it deems it necessary, but for now masks are recommended, not required. Students however may be asked to wear masks on buses to reduce the number of routes. Masks will be available on all bus routes.
Sawyer Public School will be having High School registration on Monday, August 16 from 8am-4pm in the school library. Please come out to sit down with our staff to get your classes and electives set up!
We will also have registration available on Tuesday, August 17 by appointment only. Please call the school at (701) 624-5167 to schedule if you would like to come in this day instead.

Summer is here, but the learning and fun doesn’t have to stop thanks to some of our dedicated Sawyer staff. A special thank you to Ms. Hayes, Ms. Clark, and Ms. Risha for giving these kids a day of full of education and fun at the Minot Zoo. We are lucky to have such an incredible zoo here, and we are so blessed to have such a great group of students and staff. Learning is better together!
