The Booster movie will be held in the big gym tonight! The movie playing will be the The Addams Family and will start at 7:30. You may bring something soft and comfy to sit on! After the movie, stop by the Sawyer Haunted House and Haunted Forest. $10 for the Haunted House and $20 for both

One more for the day!! The HS field trip for the pumpkin patch has also been postponed. The HS will be going on Monday, October 18. The bus will depart at 8:45 and return at 12:30 Also, in honor of breast cancer awareness, Friday is wear pink day! We challenge all students and staff to PINK IT UP

Please make sure that your students are dressed for their upcoming outdoor field trips! The weather is definitely getting colder and we want the kids to stay warm when doing their outdoor activities. Coats, hats and gloves are recommended!

Hello everyone! This is a reminder that our county health nurse will be here to administer flu shots tomorrow. If you are interested in having your student receive this shot, but have not returned your authorization form, please return the form to the school TOMORROW! Thank you :)

Hello Flashes, We want to let all of our families know that the school breakfast/lunch menus may not follow the printed menu. Many schools are having troubles getting food items at the current time and have been dropped by distributors. Your students will be fed, it just may not follow the menu.

Sawyer School will be dismissing at 12:30 on Friday, October 8 for teacher in service. Buses will be running, however there will be NO CLC that day!

Hello Flashes Families! This is a quick reminder to return your flu shot forms, school pictures will be next week and if your student/students are going to be absent, please make a call into the school as soon as possible!

Good evening parents! Your student should have brought a form for the flu shot and a form for school pictures home. Pictures will be on Tuesday, Oct 12 and Flu shots will be on Wed, Oct 13. If your child will be receiving the flu shot, please send the completed form back to the school asap.

Help Wanted Sawyer School is hiring a Nutrition Services Manager. This position will be responsible for food preparation and serving of meals and snacks, preparing dining areas for meal times, ensuring all applicable policies for food preparation and serving are followed, and cleaning the kitchen and dining area when finished eating. Salary is negotiable. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. Applicants are eligible for Veterans’ Preference. The Sawyer School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
